Ralph Nwadike also fondly called Uncle Ralph by his junior colleagues, is a veteran script writer, filmmaker, actor and director.
Nwadike is of an Ibo decent. His year of birth and educational background are not known.

Ralph is such a creative and exceptionally talented Nollywood star, loved, admired and respected by many for his usual calm and cheerful disposition and his humility.
Ralph has worked with other renowned colleagues like Lola Fani Kayode, Zeb Ejiro and Amaka Igwe who have made television programmes especially soaps and series worth watching from the 90s to present day.
Ralph has so far wrote and produced soap operas often watched on Sundays evening like Fortune, Mega Fortune and Palace. This was long before Nollywood was born, thus making him a historic figure.

Ralph has also nurtured and inspired great actors in our contemporary history in the likes of Segun Arinze, and former President of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP) Paul Obazele, Genevieve Nnaji and many others to have their first major break on television and movie acting.
It was Ralph that discovered industry raves such as Ibinabo Fiberisima, Regina Askia, Liz Benson, Ayo Adesanya, Foluke Daramola, Blessing Effiom Egbe, Dolly Onachukwu, Ramsey Nouah, Pat Attah, Emeka Ike, Ernest Obi, Femi Brainard, Funsho Adeolu, Jayke Aenan, Okey Bakasi and the late J.T Tom West.
Ralph has made a big name in Nollywood since 90s with several hit movies to his credit, some of which include: Most Wanted, Contractors, Asylum, Magic Moment, Camouflage, Body of Vengeance, and Armageddon King turned out very successful.
Ralph Nwadike is reputed to have produced a movie, ‘Most Wanted’ as the first home video to have sold over a million copies’ in the history of Nollywood. The movie had the cast of top Nollywood stars like Regina Askia, Ibinabo Fiberima, Ayo Adesanya, Genevieve Nnaji and Bisola Fadayomi in lead roles.

Ralph Nwadike was elected President of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP). He defeated Lilian Amah-Aluko (After the I Dos) in an election to become the winner.

The highly gifted filmmaker has earned credits as a script writer on some of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) defunct series like The Village Headmaster, Second Chance, The Masquerade and Tele movies.
In fact, the history of the Nigerian motion picture industry, especially the transition from television production to production of movies on video, would not be complete without the mention of Ralph who is clearly an icon and a television production star.
