Enuka Okuma: Biography And Net Worth

Enuka Vanessa Okuma is her birth name but fondly known as Enuka Okuma. She is a Canadian actress, of Nigerian decent from the Igbo people reputed for her role as detective Traci Nash in the Global/ABC Police Drama Series, Rookie Blue (2010–2015).

Okuma was born September 20, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her educational background is however not known.

She is also known for her work on the Canadian television series Madison (1994–1998) and Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye (2002–2005). She appeared in the first season of TV soap-opera Hillside as the scheming and conspiring Kelly.

Enuka Okuma’s Career

Okuma began her acting career in 1990 on television, appearing as regular cast member during the first season of the teen Soap Opera, Hillside.
Okuma made her feature film debut with a supporting role in Double Jeopardy (1999) and has since played supporting roles in several Canadian television series, such as Madison.
She has so far starred in several movies and television series, some of which include:
• Suddenly Naked
• Battle of Sexes
• What Colour Is Love?
• The SleepOver
• Hillside
• Madison
• McGyver among numerous others.

Okuma co-starred in the American crime drama series Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye from 2002 to 2005. She also starred on various hit television series, including Dark Angel, Odyssey 5, Cold Case, Grey’s Anatomy and NCIS: Los Angeles.
The highly talented star had the recurring role as Marika Donoso on the seventh season of the Fox series 24.

In 2010, Okuma began starring in the Global/ABC Police drama series, Rookie Blue as detective Traci Nash.
Okuma revealed in an interview that she got the role of Traci and Charlotte with the co-operation of the producers who saw her rich talents and thought the same.
Okuma also played a lead character in the ABC Pilot, The Adversaries, in 2015, the same year she guest starred as Nia Lahey on the hit series ‘How to Get Away with Murder’.

Okuma has so far done a number of voice work on Lady Une in the English dub of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Android 18 on the Canadian version of Dragon Ball Z, Jade on the Canadian animated series Shadow Raiders and the gem fusion Rhodonite in Steven Universe.

Okuma is  also  a brilliant writer, actress and executive producer and made her directorial debut with the short film, Cookie. She co-wrote the episode “Best Man” on Rookie Blue.

• Okuma won a Women In Film Award at the 1999 Vancouver International Film Festival for her role in Daydrift.
• Nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Series at the 2011 Gemini Awards.
• Nominated for Best Performance in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Program or Series in 2013 at the Canadian Screen Awards for her role on Rookie Blue.
