Ruth Nkweti, also fondly called Ruthie is a famous Cameroonian actress and producer based in Nigeria.
She was born on January 26, 1989 in small town of Tiko in the southwest Region of Cameroon. She grew up with her parents and siblings in Cameroon before relocating to Nigeria where she made her entry into acting profession.
Nkweti attended Presbyterian Secondary School, PSS Mankon and later Presbyterian Secondary School, in Cameroon.

She had a strong passion for writing and directing plays, her long dream from secondary school where she enjoyed thunderous applause each time she mimicked her idols in a self-initiated sketch.
Ruth made a career in acting professionally in 2006.
Ruth, who is now Nigerian based actress has so far starred in several Nollywood movies including ‘53 Extra’.
Ruth is also a movie producer with several Nollywood movie productions to her credit. Her first movie production was in 2016.
