Owolabi Ajasa is a Veteran Nollywood actor mainly seen in Yoruba movies.

Owolabi was born on May 3, in Odede Local Government but was brought up at Mosalasi Jimoh, Kemta- Kobiti, Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State. His year of birth is however not known.

 

Owolabi Ajasa’s Educational Background

Owolabi had his primary and secondary education at Saint Anglican and Nawair- Ur- Deen Grammar School respectively.
The talented actor later obtained National Diploma in Mass Communication (HND) in Mass Communication from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta in 2016.

Owolabi Ajasa’s Acting Career

Owolabi Ajasa made his entry into Yoruba movie industry some years back when he met a popular Yoruba star, Lukman Ebun Oloyede popularly known as Olaiya while working in Total Filling Station in Abeokuta.

The actor was shot to fame and recognition in Yoruba movie industry after producing a movie, Adanwo Olopa (Trial of Policeman). The movie has since earned him (Olopa) Policeman in over 90 percent of his movies. He has since starred in several Yoruba movies.

Owolabi, is also Odeda Local Government Chairman of Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria. He was admitted to the institution in 2014.

Owolabi Ajasa took to his instagram page to appreciate God as he embarked on his one year mandatory NYSC programme in Kogi State. His followers congratulated him for the achievement as some believe it will encourage other actors to further their education.
