Daniella Okeke is a Nigerian movie actress, producer, television personality, model and a rare philanthropist.

She was born on the 26^th of March 1987 in Imo State in the south eastern Nigeria.

 

Educational Background

Daniella Okeke had her primary and secondary education in Delta State in south southern Nigeria where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively. She later went to have a Bachelor’s degree in Fine and Applied Arts from the Delta State University, Abraka, also in Delta State. Since graduation and joining Nollywood, she has remained very active and relevant in the movie industry.

 

Her Acting Career

Daniella Okeke made her journey into Nollywood in 2006. She had a humble beginning by accepting minor characters in movies. She built on her skills and became prominent after starring in a blockbuster movie “Sleek Ladies” in the year 2007.

In 2013, she again featured in another hit movie “Lagos Cougars”, directed by veteran Nollywood actor, Desmond Elliot. In this movie, Daniella played the role of ‘Joke’. The recognition and popularity of this movie earned her a nomination as Best actress in a leading role at the 10^th African Movie Academy Awards.

 

She has featured in over 100 movies so far alongside top Nollywood stars like Mercy Johnson, Tonto Dikeh, Rachael Okonkwo, Ken Erics, Emma Ehummadu, Sylvester Madu, Ramsey Noah among others.
