Babajide Awobona is his real full name but widely and fondly called Jide Awobona. He is a fast rising Nollywood actor known for several hit soaps and movies.
Jide was born on February 9, year of his birth not known. He grew up in Lagos State but hails from Ogun state in south western Nigeria.
Jide’s Educational Background
Jide Awobona had his primary and secondary education in Lagos State respectively. He later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Oabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.

Recently, there was a rumour spreading like wide fire in the bush that he was dating Ayo Adesanya which he denied strongly, saying it was the work of rumour peddlers. According Jide, “Romance! How on earth can I be in any form of romance with my own sister? Ayo Adesanya is my sister” he concluded.
He explained they are both in the industry working together for the good of the profession playing a very crucial role in all the stages of the production from pre-production, production and post production.
