Amarachi Uyanne, widely and fondly known by her stage name as Amarachi. She is a popular Nigerian teenage singer, dancer and violinist, best known for winning the maiden edition of Nigeria’s Got Talent in 2012.
She was born on July 17, 2004. Amarachi hails from Delta State but grew up in Edo State where she commenced dancing at the early age of 5.
Amarachi attended University Preparatory Secondary School in Benin City, Edo State where she obtained her secondary school certificate in 2019.
The young celebrity is currently studying at Benson Idahosa University, Benin City, Edo State.
Amarachi started dancing in 2012 at the age of 5. Her genres of music are Afropop and hip hop.
She emerged winner of the first edition of Nigeria’s Got Talent in 2012 with a cash prize of N10 million Naira. She was subsequently adjudged the “youngest millionaire in Nigeria”.
The beautiful, exceptionally creative and talented teenage Nigerian star has since released her debut single titled “Amarachi Dance” which has become viral in social media and television stations across Nigeria.
Amarachi has also featured Phyno in a song, “Ova Sabi” which happened to be her first two singles. The songs are very successful and so far received massive airplay and positive review from music critics.
The talented superstar currently runs the ‘Amarachi Talent Academy’, a talent school set up to nurture and train young children with musical and dance talents.
