Stephen Yao Mawunyo, also widely and fondly known as Oteele, or Biggie, is a popular Ghanaian comic actor who has made a big name for himself in the movie industry.

He was born into a family of six children in Kumasi to an ex-military officer and his mother, ‘Ga’ Kenkey, a seller who sells around the military barracks in Kumasi. He grew up at the Uaddara barracks, together with his other siblings. Stephen’s date and year of birth are not known, but he hails from Ho, in the Volta region of Ghana.

The Popular Kumawood actor happily got married to his longtime girlfriend, Nana Ama Gifty on May 18, 2019 in Asante Akyem Agogo in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, a marriage many believed would not work because of his plump physique in comparison to a cute nature of his wife.

Inspite of all these, the marriage went ahead as planned and the wedding ceremony was attended by some Kumawood celebrities. Happily enough, the couple is currently blessed with two children.
