Mohammed Animashaun is his real name, also widely and professionally known as Moelogo. He is a fast-rising UK based Nigerian singer and songwriter currently making waves in the music industry.
He was born on the 13th of April in the 1990s to Yoruba parents in Lagos. Moelogo grew up in Lagos alongside his other siblings. He hails from Mushin area of Lagos State, Nigeria.
Moelogo moved to London and later graduated from London Starlight Music Academy.
The Lagos born singer was nominated for the Best Alternative Song Category at the 14th Headies Music Awards.
Moelogo’s Career
Moelogo‘s interest in music started after he moved to London with his preference for artists like R. Kelly and Usher.
In 2010, he got his first opportunity to showcase his talent to a large audience when he performed alongside Jamaican artist, Busy Signal in a concert. The concert was held in Gambia, West Africa.
Molelogo recorded his first official single, She’s My Indomie and released it on top music streaming platforms. The song received good reviews and won him some fans.
Moelogo was eventually shot to limelight after the famous hit single, Pangolo. The song was an instant hit and huge success as it was the choice of many people across the world. It had 120,000 views on YouTube in its first month of release.

In 2018, Moelogo signed publishing deal with Downtown Records.

In December 2020, Moelogo released another hit song, ‘I Wonder’. The song was a huge success and earned him nomination for the Best Alternative Song Category at the 14th Headies Music Awards.
He released his second EP, Myself in 2020.
The project contains tracks such as Emotions, Logo’s Prayer, Fate, Mumidani, You, Self Love.
In 2023, he was featured by leading Ghanaian artist, Sarkodie on the single, Come Back.
