Pastor Jerry Uchechukwu Eze is his real name, but widely and fondly called Pastor Jerry Eze. He is a renowned Pastor, an evangelist, teacher of the word of God and founder and President of Joy International Church.
The ministry which came into being in 2011, is fast-growing across the globe with its headquarters at Klm 4 Ikot Ekpene Road, Umuahia and thousands of worshippers spread across the world.
He was born on August 22, 1982 in Item, Bende Local Government of Abia State, Nigeria. Pastor Jerry is of humble background, he grew up in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria with his poor single mother.
According to the renowned pastor, his Christian background brought him to a place of humility and prayer which ultimately launched him to serve God for the rest of his life.
Jerry Eze’s Educational Background
Pastor Jerry had his primary and secondary school at Ibeku High School, Umuahia. He later bagged Bachelor’s degree in History and International Relations at the Abia State University. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
Upon graduation, Pastor Jerry worked briefly as a broadcaster. He later worked with the United Nations and the World Bank Project, where he resigned. In 2009, he received God’s call to set up his ministry and eventually made a full-time servant of God.
Pastor Jerry Eze began his ministry at a young age and has made tremendous breakthrough in his ministry. He has so far attained high level of success in ministry as a good teacher of the word of God, and evangelist.
While in the University, he served as Pastor of the University chapel, All Saints Chapel.
He later founded Streams of Joy International in 2011. He is also the leader of New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD), the convener of one of the largest online prayer meetings (New Season Prophetic Prayers & Declarations) which is viewed widely by over 100,000 people daily.
Streams of Joy International holds 6 services every Sunday at its headquarter church located at km 4 Ikot-Ekpene road Umuahia, Abia State, with branches in Nottingham, United Kingdom another in Houston Texas United States, another Calgary Canada, Abuja Nigeria and many other branches across Nigeria.
Through his ministry, many Christians who are weak spiritually have received their deliverance and healing. He is a passionate preacher who is greatly concerned about seeing people achieve their God-given mission on earth.

Pastor Jerry is happily married to his lovely wife, Eno Jerry who has remained very supportive of his ministry. She is also a Pastor and a lead Consultant, MD and CEO of Jeno consulting, a Human Resource company.
The couple is blessed with a lovely daughter Samara and a son Jerry.
Pastor Jerry is also the author of several inspirational books. He has written and published the Streams of Joy Daily Devotions widely adjudged as best selling that has reached the five continents of the globe.
