He was born on October 10th, 1975 in Mbaise in Imo State. He had his up-bringing in Lagos State. He is the last child of his parents.

 

Tichidi’s Educational Background

Tichidi had his primary and secondary education in Lagos. He later went to the University of Calabar, Cross River State where he graduated in Theatre Arts.

Chikere travelled to London immediately after his National Youth Service. While there, he published his first book. He also launched his second album in London.

He is a talented singer and launched his first music album, Slaps n Kisses, directed by OJB Jezreel and featured top music stars like Pat Atah, Marvellous Benji and Jimmy B. He directed the video to Kcee’s song “Agbomma”. The second album was launched in London.

Chikere has married twice. First, he got married to Sophia Chikere, a popular Nollywood actress and the union is blessed with three children. Sadly, the couple divorced in 2012 as a result of their irreconcilable differences.

He is currently married to a Nollywood actress, Nuella Njubigbo.
