Tchide Chikere is a Nigerian actor, producer, director, script writer, a music video director and a musician.
He was born on the 10th of October, 1975 in Mbaise, Imo State in south eastern Nigeria. He had his up-bringing in Lagos State.
Tchide had his primary and secondary education in Lagos State. After obtaining his first and secondary school certificates respectively, he went to the University of Calabar in Cross River State to have a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts. Since then, he has remained active and relevant in the entertainment industry.
He joined the Nigerian Movie Industry (Nollywood) and has successfully acted, wrote, produced and directed a number of movies.
He has over 70 movies to his credit including the famous movie “Stronger Than Pain”, an emotional tragic movie he starred alongside the stars in the industry like Emeka Ike and Kate Henshaw.
The same move earned him an award for best creative director in Nigeria at the African Academy Awards.
Tchide is a versatile young man. He also ventured into music and has collaborated with Marvellous Benji, Pat Attah and Obz Jezreel to produce spectacular music.
He began writing film scripts while still in school. He travelled to the United Kingdom where he first published his first book. He again launched his first and second studio albums later in the United Kingdom in 2007.
Tchide Chikere has in his years in the entertainment industry received several prestigious awards. They include:

His Personal Life
Tchide got married to Sophia Chikere, a Nollywood actress and the marriage is blessed with three children.
Unfortunately, the marriage had its abrupt end in 2012 and he has since remarried to another Nollywood actress Nuella Njubigbo.
