Femi Adebayo is a popular Nigerian actor, Lawyer, film director, producer, politician and an investor. He is the son of the Nollywood veteran actor, Adebayo Salami.
He was born on the 31st of December 1972 in Lagos State. He hails from Ilorin, Kwara State in south western Nigeria.
Educational Background
Femi had his primary and secondary education in Lagos State where he obtained his first and secondary school certificates respectively. He later went to the University of Ilorin in Kwara State to have a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Master’s degree in Theatre Arts. He is now a Doctorate degree student of the same University of Ilorin combining acting and academic enterprise.
His Acting Career
Femi Adebayo joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 1995 and acted in Tade Ogidan movie “Owo Blow”. He has since acted in several Yoruba and English movies, some of which include Ayitale, Anini, Omo Ekun, Alagbaa, Onise Iku, Omo University, Tania, Asona, Onise Iku, Atona, Ladies Gang, Death Island, Diamonds in the Sky, Survival of Jelili, October 1, Ma Wobadan and Buga, Oreke Temi, Toromade, Taiwo Taiwo among others.
Femi is one of the prominent and highly experienced Nollywood actors, gifted and exceptionally talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles. He acts alongside the big stars in the movie industry like Olu Jacobs, Akin Lexis, Bimbo Akintola, Yinka Quadri, Ayo Adesanya, Sola Kosoko and many others. He is indeed a good actor.
Femi is presently the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of J-15 Media Network Nigeria and Special adviser to the Governor of Kwara State on Arts, Culture and Tourism.

Femi married his first wife, Khadijat Adebayo who had three children for him, but sadly enough, the marriage ended in divorce.
He again married Omotayo Maimunat Sanusi after about 8 years in a low key wedding ceremony on October 9, 2016 and the ceremony was graced by lots of Nollywood celebrities and political figures across the country.
