Rekana Sharon Ojong is her real name, but widely and fondly called Sharon Ojong. She is a famous costume designer/stylist and TV producer with Spice Fashion Channel, based in Lagos, Nigeria.
She was born and bred up in Calabar where she had her primary and secondary education in Calabar respectively. Her date and year of birth are however not known.

The movie which was a 12minute flick spotlights, was shot in the city of Lagos, comprising a diverse group of church members unified in their quest for a common good. The 19-member cast, ‘Children of God’ essentially highlights the beauty in our diversity and showcases 19 collection pieces.
In an interview, Sharon revealed that the movie, ‘Children of God’ was inspired by “love, passion and inclusion. According to the renowned designer and stylist, the project was a collection platform inspired by real African people with real stories, clothing made with eco-friendly, hand-woven and hand-dyed fabrics made with low impact materials for our tie-dye process. She added, “I’m proud we were able to achieve that, both with the collection and the film.”
Sharon Ojong also revealed that she was only 23 when she got on Koko mansion in 2009 and years down the line, embraced the woman she had always wanted to be, a beautiful day dream that comes to fruitfulness.
Sharon Ojong is a lover of fashion, a strong passion she enjoyed from childhood, dressing up her friends and family members who had trouble finding something to wear. As fate would have it, she ended up making a niche in the fashion world.
