Kabex argued that rappers are not supposed to turn singers but defend the game they claim they love. This didn’t go well with a lot of rappers like Diss with Jaido P who felt the comments were targeted against them to bring them down to ridicule.

Kabex claim of being the best indigenous rapper, coupled with the comments that rappers ought not to turn singers has generated mixed feelings among indigenous rappers as to who emerges best rapper in the Nigerian music industry.
