Doris Simeon is a popular Nigerian Yoruba and English actress, hairdresser and entrepreneur known for playing stunning roles in Nollywood movies.

She was born on July 22, 1979 in Lagos, but hails from Okpella, in Edo State Nigeria. Doris had her upbringing in Lagos did her primary and secondary education respectively.

Doris has a younger brother named Victor Simeon, a member of The SmoothBoiz and one of the top nine competitors on the Glo X-Factor in 2013.

She also attended PEFFTI Institute in Lagos State where she studied film production and management.

 

Doris Acting career

Doris started off as a newscaster.

She later got a role through her friend who told her about an audition for a Cameo role in a situational comedy sitcom by Wale Adenuga Production (WAP) called “Papa Ajasco”.

Doris Simeon went for the audition and she was given the role.

Doris is such a beautiful, creative and talented Yoruba and English actress, known for brilliant interpretation of roles in movies.

She started with a part in three episodes of the Papa Ajasco comedy series and has since proved to be exceptional in acting.

In 2010, the gifted actress starred as Da Grin’s girlfriend in Ghetto Dreamz and co-produced with Omo Iya kan.

Doris Simeon is the CEO of Davris Beauty centre situated in Ifako, Lagos.

Doris has a good number of endorsement deals with giant companies in Nigeria including Glaxosmithkline.

In July 2015, Doris renewed her contract with Glaxosmithkline to be the face of Ribena, a popular children fruit drink.

Doris was married to producer and director, Daniel Ademinokan, whom she met on set. They have one son David.

Sadly, the marriage hit the rock in May 2013 as a result of their irreconcilable differences. The beautiful actress is said to be in another relationship with one Taiwo Oduala based in the United States. But none of the parties has come up to authenticate this information.
