Chris Iheuwa is a renowned Nigerian actor, movie producer and one of the pioneers of Nollywood and current Vice chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria.
He was born in the early 70s and grew up in Lagos and Oyo States – Ibadan and Orile Iganmu respectively. His early years of growing up afforded him the opportunity to speak and write the Yoruba language and familiarized himself with the culture and tradition of the western part of Nigeria.

Chris began his journey into Nollywood from cradle to where the industry stands today, with his acting career with Village Headmaster series.
Prior to his success in Nollywood, Chris participated in various stage plays including Ovonramwen Nogbaisi, Arrow of God, The Lion and the Jewel, The Gods Are Not to Blame and several other stage plays at the National Arts Theatre and other stage venues across Nigeria.
He has also performed at TV series like The New Dawn Club, Glimpses, Ripples, Checkmate, The Third Eye, and The Village Headmaster where he played alongside Dejumo Lewis, late Elsie Olushola, Jimmy Johnson, Joe Layode and a host of others.
Chris also featured in Amaka Igwe’s Rattlesnake where he played the multi lingual crook Bala, a member of the notorious Armadas robbery gang and Fuji House of Commotion as Taiye Fuji and later as the Assistant Director.
The veteran Nollywood star has since starred in several blockbuster Nollywood movies, some of which are: Rattle Snake in 1995, Phone Swap in 2012, Joba in 2019, The Second Bed (2020), La Femme Anjola (2020), and The Delivery Boy (2018), Stranger (2022), among many others.
Having made a mark in English Nollywood segment, the gifted actor is now making waves in Yoruba movies genre.
