Anita Tonye Isama, also fondly and widely addressed as Anita Okoye, is a professional Nigerian Lawyer, entrepreneur and author and former wife of top Nigerian musician, Paul ‘Rudeboy’ Okoye otherwise known as P-Square.

Anita’s husband has gained fame for his role in the well-known R&B trio P-square, has risen to fame as a member of the popular R&B duo P-square. He grew up performing with his P-square co-star and brother Peter Okoye.

Anita was born on November 8, 1988 in Lagos State. She hails from Ikwere tribe of Rivers State, Port Harcourt in south south Nigeria.

Anita Okoye however became widely known after her relationship with her lover and wealthy musician, Paul Okoye of the disbanded music duo, made up of Peter and Paul Okoye.

Anita grew up in a Christian middle-class family, very intelligent lady amongst her peers. She’s from Anambra State of Nigeria.

Anita Okoye holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Abuja Nigeria.

Anita Okoye got employed at a company in the oil and gas sector, where she worked for about eight years.

Anita Okoye co-founded the Cashew Apple Project (CAP), a development many described as a positive contribution to the development of Africa to change the world’s negative perception about the continent (Africa).

It also places Anita as a social crusader who has done much to change the African narrative positively.

Anita Okoye is also a successful entrepreneur with good number of business investments. She owns Children’s fashion collection store known as Tannkco, which she launched in October 2019. The shop is still doing very well, located in Lekki, Lagos State.

She also owns a company named Little Luxe, a lifestyle furniture company that deals majorly in children’s furniture.

The beautiful, versatile and highly intelligent Nigerian entrepreneur and Lawyer is also an author. She authored the book “The ABC Of Africa,” which centres on the people of African continent.

Anita Okoye’s Personal Life

Anita Okoye was married with Paul Okoye the renowned Nigerian musician and the union is blessed with three children namely Andre, and twins – a boy Nathan and a girl Nadia Okoye they had in 2017.

Anita unexpectedly filed for a divorce from her long-time husband and best friend Paul Okoye, which came as a shock even for bloggers and Newsmen. The marriage lasted for seven years from 2014 to 2023 as a result of their irreconcilable differences.

Anita Okoye and Paul Okoye met at the University of Lagos while she was pursuing a law degree at a young age of 16. They dated for about two years and got married in 2014.

Sadly, the duo parted ways after Anita Okoye filed for a divorce in a leaked letter addressed to a Law Court in Lagos dated 18 August 2023. She also demanded custody of her children with a 7.8 million Naira ($15000) monthly upkeep.
