Ruby Chinaza Akubueze is her real full name, but widely and fondly called Ruby Akubueze. She is a fast upcoming Nigerian actress, voice-over artist and model who has made a big name in the industry.

She was born on October 15, 1998 in Umuahia, Abia State. Ruby is one of six children in the family.

 

Ruby’s Educational Background

Ruby had her primary education in Umuahia. She later did her secondary school education at Saint Joseph College and currently studying Theatre Arts at the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

Ruby’s Acting Career

Ruby’s journey into acting dated back to her early days in school and Church when she used to acts stage drama and plays. She was also influenced by Leonardo DiCaprio’s acting in the award-wining Hollywood movie, Titanic.

Ruby became professionally known in 2013, when she made her acting debut in the movie, “Look Beyond”, produced by Faith Moyosore.

She has worked with top Nollywood stars, including the popular comedian and actor, AY Makun in “Brother LIEnus”, Wale Ojo, Iretiola Doyle, Toyin Abraham, Osas Ighodaro, Timini Egbuson, Tiwa Savalge and others.

The beautiful and talented Nollywood actress and model also took up the role of Frances in the popular MTV Shuga Naija series, a brilliant movie that revolves around a naïve young girl who led a very reserved high school life until she finds herself swept up into a grandiose plan that turns into a terrible incident.
