Laura Monyeazo Abebe is her real name, but widely and fondly called Moet Abebe. She is a famous Nigerian video jockey, television presenter, actress and entrepreneur.
She was born July 29, 1989 in the United Kingdom to Nigerian parents and a brother to late Stella Obasanjo, the wife of former President of Nigeria.

Moet Abebe attended Corona Primary School, Ikoyi and Dowen College for a year where she did part of her secondary education. She then proceeded to Woldingham School and St. Teresa’s Secondary School also in Surrey in the UK where she did her GCSE’s and A-Levels respectively.
Abebe finally graduated in Law from the University of Manchester, UK.

Abebe began her entertainment career on her relocation to Nigeria as a television and radio presenter with Soundcity TV, an urban music Television Channel, where she attained fame and recognition.
She became a very popular face on Soundcity TV as host of the ‘One On One show’, ‘Body & Soul’ and ‘Global Countdown show’ respectively.
In 2016, she did a popular and educative afternoon show on Soundcity Radio 98.5fm tagged, “The Takeover” from 2-6pm Monday to Friday.
Moet Abebe has also featured top Nigeria musicians on her radio show such as Vector (rapper), 2Baba, Olamide, Chidinma and D’banj.
Abebe is also a Nollywood actress. She showed her versatility and creativity in the Nigerian entertainment Industry when she acted in a few Movies and TV series, including Red Card, Oasis and Living Arrangement. She became more famous and remained a household name in the media.
The talented Nigerian entertainer has graced many red carpet events, some as a guest and others as the host of the red carpets.

Moet Abebe’s marital status is not known. She was said to have engaged in an abusive relationship with her would-be husband in 2015, a relationship she does not flaunt in the public or social media. She added that societal pressure is the major reason why most women venture into wrong marriages.
