Olaide had his primary education in Magbon, Mushin, Lagos. He began his secondary education at Birch Freeman High School, Surulere, but he didn’t finish before finally made it at Bishop Aggey Memorial Secondary School.

Olaide Almoroof started off as cosmetics dealer, before venturing into acting.

He has since starred in several Nollywood movies, most notably ‘Ere Gele’, which earned him nomination as the best actor in the supporting role.

In an interview, the Yoruba born actor stated that the journey to stardom has been extremely rough, but thanked God for making him what he is today, though he is not yet where he planned to be. Then, he would go to a film set for a week or two and would return home to beg for sugar to drink garri. All that is now history, he concluded.
Olaide Almoroof believes in Nollywood dominating the movie world. He revealed that currently, the industry is growing at a faster rate from fourth in the world to second position. As far as film-making is concerned, there is no limit to the height Nollywood can attain in the nearest future, even in the next decade, though Nollywood is still facing a lot of challenges like piracy and inadequate funding.
His Marital Life
Olaide is happily married with four kids, two girls and two boys. The talented actor revealed that he is grateful to God for his mother who was supportive in the days when he had to go to auditions. She would give me transport fares. She wouldn’t even condemn him, but rather fed him as an adult, as a married man and a graduate.
He also expressed gratitude to his lovely wife, who was supportive too.
