Responding to what inspired that statement, the comedian, however stated that he was only fooling around. “iIm just fooling around. i already feel like I have my own though. most Nigerians do. if your provide your won light, water, security, and health care, you’re more of your own government without sovereignty.

“it’s good. last time I was there (Dallas), it was a blast. Comedy has that tradition of judging from the promises to be the same this year,” he said.

Bovi who recently replied a comment on social media, which some people considered nasty, told Saturday Beat that comments would not define him; instead they define those say them. Most of the time, it’s all love. The only time you will see me drawn into a reply is when you try to touch a third party with falsehood. I’m usually forced to put them straight. But if I’m really not bothered. It’s all fun.

In his words, “like i said earlier, it doesn’t define me. It defines the writer. When i reply, it’s usually to set the facts right. It comes from a good place. If i didn’t care, I would be on a blocking spree and for me that doesn’t solve all problems”.
