Ice Prince: Biography And Net Worth

Ice Prince whose real name is Panshak Henry Jamani is a popular Nigerian Hip-Hop rapper, song writer, recording artist, stage performer, actor and a model.

He was born on the 23rd of October, 1986 in Minna, Niger state in the northern Nigeria.

 

Educational Background

Ice Prince had his primary education and secondary education at St. Murumba College both in Jos, Plateau State. After the usual primary and secondary school certificates respectively, he went to Science tutorial College also in Jos. He later went to the University of Jos to read Zoology but could not finish the programme because of financial problems. He then left his fate in the hands of God and pursued his career in music.

 

His Musical Career

Ice Prince began his musical journey at a very tender age doing rapping. He grew up to become famous in the city of Jos after releasing the hit single “Oleku”, featuring Brymo and later turned out to be the most aired song in our local radio and television stations across Nigeria.

Ice later on in his career revealed that he drew his inspirations from Kanye West, Busta Ryhmes, Lauryn Hall, Jay-Z, Common, Ludacris and M.I. who he described as his brother, a friend and mentor.

He featured in the Hennessy Artistry competition, organized by Hennessy Brand, a company reputed for alcoholic drink, which had the support of Urban and Contemporary music and emerged winner.

 

Ice made an unwavering progress in his music career and in 2004, released another hit single “Extraordinary Rewind”. The song was also successful with huge volume of sales. The hit song received wide applaud and was adjudged the best at the time, lovely aired freely in most radio and television across Lagos and Abuja, Rhythm FM, Top 7 Chat, the University of Lagos FM and others.

 

His first debut “Everybody loves Ice Prince”, was released and was later supported by top singles like Oleku, Superstar, Juju and Magician.

Ice second debut studio album “Fire of Zamani” was released and featured hit singles like Aboki, Gimme Dat and I Swear. The success of these hit release by Ice galvanized him to greatness in field of music and has since remained the much talked about Nigerian artiste in the industry.
