He was born on the 28th of March 1986 in Owhelogbo, a community in Isoko, Delta state. Orezi grew up in Isoko and he is the first child in a family of five children.
Orezi had his primary education in Isoko, Delta State and later at Command Secondary school in Lagos where he obtained his first and secondary school certificates respectively.
He later went to the University of Lagos to have a degree in Urban and Regional Planning.
Orezi commenced his musical career in the early 2009. He released his first hit single “I No Fit Lie”.
In 2010, he released another hit song “High Blood Pressure”. The music video of the song was very successful and was endorsed by MTV Base.
That same year 2010, Orezi again released another hit single “Jamilaya” alongside DJ Jam-Jam. The song received a positive review by strong music critics.
In 2011, he featured on a hit track with Karen Igho, Danagogo and DJ Debby. The music was very popular and was freely aired on MTV Base, Sound City, Trace TV, One Music and radio and television stations across the country.
Orezi also collaborated with DJ Jimmy Jatt’s song “Komije, a song that featured Karen Igho and Sauce Kid. Again, he has worked with a number of producers like Del B, Dokta Frabz, Kiddominat and others.
Orezi has since released a number of hit songs including the popular song “Booty Bounce”. The song received wide acceptance and was rated top 10 African songs on Channel O, MTV Base and Trace Urban.
The music video for the song earned him nomination in the Raggae/Dance Hall category at the 2012 Channel O Music Video Awards. The song featured the likes of Bovi, Wande Coal, Danagogo, Karen Igho, Skuki, General Pupe and others.
2013 was a major breakthrough in Orezi’s career, as he released his first biggest hit single “Rihans”. It was a song that actually shot him to global recognition and subsequently signed a record contract deal with Sprisal Record Label.
The video song for Rihana was done in South Africa and was freely played in most radio and television stations across Nigeria. The hit song also got signed to Davido’s record label HKN and the cost of his record label was put at N7.3 million Naira.
Orezi has performed at different Concerts and music shows both nationally and internationally.
• He performed at the 2010 Star Trek Musical Concert Tour held in Kaduna and Makurdi respectively.
• Orezi also performed at the Nigeria 50th Independence Anniversary celebration held on 1st of October, 2010 and organized by the Kaduna State Government.
Others include the DJ Jemmy Jatt’s”Jump Off Show” held at Get Arena in Lekki, Lagos and several Clubs and Concerts in Ibadan, Lagos and South Africa.
Orezi has collaborated with other top artistes in Nigeria like Davido, Timaya, M.I Abaga, Flavour and Wizkid to release hit singles like “Ogede” in 2015 and “Double Your Hustle” in 2016 respectively.
Like any other man on earth, the young versatile and hard working Nigerian artiste was faced with a setbacks. Orezi was said to have been arrested for drugs in Dubai.
His song “Shoki” turned out to be controversial in Nigeria. Orezi claimed original ownership of the song and dance steps and Kesh said no, it was his. It was a conflict between him and Kesh who came up with his video Shoki remix featuring Davido, Olamide and others.
