She was born on the 5th of December, 1983 in Canada to the parents of Kwabena Appiah as father and Janet Nwosu as mother. Jackie relocated to Ghana with her mother in 1993 at the age of 10. She is the last child in a family of five children. The father is still based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada till date.
Jackie had her primary and secondary education in Ghana where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively. Nothing much is known about Jackie’s education. It was however revealed that she intended studying entertainment or media Law.

Jackie started her acting professionally with a movie “Divine Love”. She has since starred in several movies including “Beyonce” alongside top Ghanaian actors Nadia Buari, David Ossei, Van Vicker and others.
