Stella Damasus: Biography And Net Worth

Stella Damasus is a renowned Nollywood actress, singer, television personality and a model.
She was born on the 24th of April 1978 in Benin City, Edo State. She is one of six children in a family and she had her up-bringing in Benin City.

Stella’s Educational Background

Stella had her primary education at Greater Primary School both in Benin City and Idia College. She relocated to Asaba in Delta state where she finally completed her secondary education and obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively.

She later went to the University of Lagos to have a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts.

Stella Damasus Acting Career

Stella Damasus began her career as a singer in Lagos where she used to work as a studio session singer at the famous Klink Studios, owned by movie producer, Kingsley Ogoro. There, she acquired the bulk of skills in music and thereafter did vocals for the top jingles in most television stations in Nigeria.

Stella acted her first movie, “Abused” in 1992. She again starred in a second movie, “Breaking Point” produced by Emem Isong and directed by Francis Agu, a movie that shot her to fame and recognition in Nollywood. She became a household name in Nigeria.

Stella’s Marital Life

Stella Damasus is said to have had series of relationship. She married her first husband, Jaiye Aboderin, son of Chief Olu Boderin, founder of Punch Newspaper in 1999. The marriage is blessed with two daughters. Sadly, the man died suddenly in 2005.

Stella remarried in 2007 to Emeka Nzeribe, this was short live as they got divorced in 2011 as a result of their irreconcilable differences.

She again entered into another relationship with Daniel Ademonikan, multiple award-winning Nollywood producer and director, a relationship that remained purely clandestine till 2014.
