She was born on the 16th of May 1987, in Benin City. Ivie has a dual citizenship. She is the last of 5 children born to a Delta State father and an Edo State mother.
She had her primary education at Our Ladies of Apostle Private School and Queen’s College, both in Lagos before studying Economics at the University of Abuja.
Prior to her Amstel Malta Box Office (AMBO) experience, Ivie had been performing on stage, years before her Nollywood debut. According to her, featuring in the Amstel Malta Box Office launched her career and paved the way for her first feature in a movie, Alero Symphony.
In 2009 she participated and won the Amstel Malta Box Office (AMBO) reality TV show.
Ivie Okujaye starred in another hit movie “The Volunteers”, produced by Desmond Elliot. The movie was very successful and shot in Ghana, Sierra Leone and Nigeria.
She is also a producer and has successfully produced her first movie “Make a Move” which was released in Cinemas. The soundtrack for the movie was also produced by her. It was a movie that sent message of emancipation, and taking a bold step to uplift mankind.
Ivie is a good singer, but revealed that she would be more focused in acting for now. She believes someday, her dream in music would be achieved.
