Rachael Okonkwo Nnenna is her birth name but widely known as Nkoli Nwa Nsukka. She is a fast coming up Nollywood actress, model, singer, dancer and a humanitarian.

Rachael was born on the 26th May, 1987 in Nsukka in Enugu state. She is an indigene of Ukpata in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Rachael’s Educational Background

Rachael had her primary and secondary education in her home town, Nsukka where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively.
She later went to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka to have a degree.

Rachael’s Acting Career

Rachael began acting professionally in 2007 after registering with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Enugu Chapter at the National Museum GRA, Enugu. She had series of auditions and was given minor roles in movies.

She played supporting roles in movies, ‘Royal War’ with Ini Edo and Ghanaian actor Van Vicker and ‘Open and Close’ with Patience Ozokwor, John Okafor, Charles Inojie and Nuella Njibuigbo respectively paving the way for her numerous roles in other movies.

Rachael eventually had her breakthrough in a hit movie, “Nkoli Nwa Nsukka”, an Igbo indigenous movie produced and directed by Mac Collins Chidebe in 2014.

Her Humanitarian Work

Rachael Okonkwo is also a humanitarian. She does this by giving out gifts and entertaining people in an annual Carnival. The first edition was held in 2015 tagged: “Children Easter Carnival” in Enugu where gifts were distributed to children.

Her Personal Life

Rachael Okonkwo is not yet married. There were however rumours peddling that the Nollywood superstar was dating movie producer, Mac Collins and actor Ken Erics. All these Rachael debunked, saying they were her business partners in the industry.
