Jumoke George was born on 18 February, the year of her birth not known in Lagos State. She hails from Ibadan, Oyo State. She grew up under a very strict disciplinarian father who was a Military officer and a mother who also was a Military Nurse.
Jumoke George had her primary education at the Command Children School Ann’s Barracks Yaba, Lagos, Army Children School Kano, Anglican Grammar School and Orita Mefa, Ibadan respectively.
She later proceeded to Government Technical College, Osogbo in Osun state where she studied Business Administration.
Jumoke later had a certificate in Theology at Mount Camel School and World of Faith Bible.
Her Acting Career
Jumoke George began her acting career dated back to her early age of 8 by her father’s friend who then introduced her to NTA, Ibadan. She was a stage drama performer with National Television Authority (NTA), Ibadan.
She was later enrolled in a drama troupe at NTA Ibadan by a guy whose nickname was ‘Water Aqua’. Jumoke was later introduced to the Yoruba movie industry by her Boss, Comrade Victor Ashaolu.
She was tutored by Comrade Victor for about 11 years. At a point in her career, she was off-screen for about 14 years without any invitation for a role in movies owing to what the key players in the industry described as strict attitude towards male folks in the movie scene.
She has been in the movie scene for over four decades and she has featured in many movies both the Yoruba and English part of Nollywood.
Jumoke has starred in several movies. Some of her movies include:

• Eekan Soso, 2009
• La Principle Du Canapa
• The Wedding Party, 2016 and others.
Any setback, they say could be a ladder to climb higher in life. At this period of compulsory break from the movie industry, Jumoke became a member of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria, (FIBAN).
Aside acting, Jumoke is a veteran broadcaster and has anchored several live programmes in different stations like LTV8, MITV and Yotomi TV.
Jumoke is a proud recipient of Matriarch Recognition Award at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2018.
Her Personal Life
Jumoke was said to have had a not-too smooth marriage in life. She had two children for her first husband before they divorced because of she described as constant physical assault on her by former husband.
It was also reported that she had a second child for the second man in her life who was already married.
