Joshua Iniyezo is his birth name, widely known by his stage name as SolidStar, Isoko or simply SolidStar. He is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and stage performer.
SolidStar was born November 8, 1988 in Aviara Town, Delta State to Mr and Mrs Iniyezo. He is originally from Aviara Town, Isoko South, Delta State in south southern Nigeria.

SolidStar began his musical career at early age of 14 when he started as a drummer for his local church choir in Aviara, in Delta State.
He was discovered a few years later at a music talent show in Ajegunle area of Lagos State where he was introduced to Paul Cole, a record label boss.
In 2010, SolidStar formally signed to Achievas Record and his debut album was subsequently released under the label and is known to sing fluently in English, Isoko, Yoruba and Igbo Languages.
