He was born on May 14, 1970 to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Osunkoya who were both Teachers in Sagamu area of Ogun State in south western Nigeria. He hails from Ijebu North East Local Government Area of Ogun.
Femi Brainard is a graduate of Drama Arts from Obafemi Owolowo University, Ile Ife in Osun State.
His Acting Career
Femi Brainard began his acting career dated back to his days at the Obafemi Owolowo University while studying Drama Arts. He acted his first movie, a Yoruba movie titled; “Eniyan”.
He partnered with the staff of the University to produce a movie “Orisun”, meaning the “Origin”. Femi has since been doing very well in the entertainment industry with several Nollywood movies to his credit.
Femi is such a creative and highly talented Nollywood actor, known for good interpretation of roles in movies. He accepts any character assigned him and he does this pretty well to the delight of his numerous fans.

The Ogun-born Nollywood actor got married to the love of his life, Uche Brainard in November 2012. The light-skinned wife, Uche is a radio presenter with the Lagos-based radio station, Top Radio 90.9 FM.
Femi was for the very first time seen with his wife at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) in Lagos. Femi stormed the red carpet with his wife, who was with him all throughout the event. The pair looked good.
