Nosa Omoregie is his birth name but professionally known as Nosa. He is a popular Nigerian recording artist, singer, songwriter and performer, currently signed to Warner Music Group African partner, Chocolate City.

Nosa was born on February 26, 1981 in Benin, Edo State in south southern Nigeria. He hails from Benin City, Edo State.

Nosa began his musical career dated back to his early days in his local church where he explored his hidden talents in the children’s choir.
He began his music professionally in 2009 and rose to the pinnacle of the profession with several hits.

Influenced by great gospel singers like Fred Hammond and Kim Burrell, Nosa’s interest grew significantly over the years. He later developed strong passion for R &B group Boyz II men and later got to love jazz and soul music and then rock, for the simplicity of it.

The highly creative and talented singer was also greatly influenced by Afro-Highlife, particularly music from Sonny Okosun, Christy Essien-Igbokwe, King Sunny Adé and Onyeka Onwenu and many others.

Nosa made his debut studio album, Open Doors which was released on 14 March 2014 and supported by the singles “Always Pray for You”, “Why You Love Me” and “Always on My Mind”.

On the 26th of February 2020, which coincided with his birthday, Nosa launched his own Record Label, Salt Music.
Nosa was signed to Chocolate City in 2012. On 11 November 2009, he released his first single, “Always Pray for You”, under the Chocolate City label. “Always Pray for You” is Nosa’s first official single.

The Edo born superstar’s creativity and ability to blend soul tune in a high-life beat with a rock-y chorus and singing ‘Pidgin’ English with an R n B flavor makes his music very unique and inspirational.

May 2014, Nosa partnered with Nokia for the release of his song “Love is Calling”.
The same year 2014, the Punch Newspaper reported that Nosa signed an endorsement deal with Unilever. The deal is said to be a whooping sum.
