Gospel Singer Limoblaze: Biography, Songs And Net Worth

Samuel Onwubiko is his real name, widely and professionally known by his stage name as Limoblaze.

He was born on September 25, 1995 in Makurdi, Benue State Nigeria to the family of Samuel and Nkechi Onwubiko. Limoblaze hails from Bende local government in Abia state Nigeria. He grew up along his seven other siblings in Makurdi, Benue State.

Limoblaze’s Educational Background

Limoblaze had his primary and secondary education in Makurdi, Benue State respectively.

He later studied Biochemistry at the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi, Nigeria during which he joined the Day Star Church where his faith continually grew steadily and his gospel musical career began.

Limoblaze’s Music Career

Limoblaze began his music journey at a very young age of 8 years as a Choir in his Church.

He became professionally known in music as an independent artist in 2014. He has increasingly gained both local and international recognition through his songs and music videos on a mission to discover and preach the gospel of Christ to the world through his lyrics.

Limoblaze released his first song titled “Memories” which he dedicated to his classmates in his high school. The song was a huge success and was enjoyed by everyone who listened to it.

This achievement was also his motivation, as he went on to record other amazing songs like:

Limoblaze is a fine young man, exceptionally creative and talented gospel singer. He has also done good number of amazing collaborations with other top gospel artistes like Ada Ehi, Travis Greene, Da Truth and others.

Limoblaze is known to explicitly fuses his Christian faith into his music and he has a different and versatile style of producing a wonderful work of musical act.

In 2016, Limoblaze dropped his debut album, ‘Blind’. He has since released his second album ‘Before Now’, released in 2018, followed by Afrobeats Raps & Jesus released 2019, The Wait EP in 2020 and the fourth studio joint album featuring Da T.R.U.T.H titled Bridges.

The album which was released on November 20 2020, has so far begun trending both locally and internationally.

At a later interview, the music star revealed that he was influenced significantly by the songs of popular rappers like Tupac, Eminem, 50 cent and a variety of other local and international rappers.

As he grew up, he progressively went on developing himself and writing his own lyrics. He eventually came across top gospel singers and rappers like Lecrae, Ambassador, Andy Mineo, Da TRUTH, Tedashi and many others.

Limoblaze has since been influenced and groomed by these gospel icons and today, has become a brilliant Afro gospel, Afrobeat and Hip-hop gospel singer, songwriter, recording and performing artist.

A great evangelist, Limoblaze has been able to reach out to millions of people with his gospel music. According to him, he has found the spirit of God which he says brings love, faith and hope to mankind. His kind of gospel songs has helped to liberate those who are weak spiritually and brings hope to many who hitherto were lost and hopeless in life.
