He was born on the 10th of October 2000. Berri is presently based in Lagos State, but hails from Benue state, Nigeria.

In 2022, Tiga was shot to limelight when he was featured in Efe Carter’s hit track, ‘Machala’, a song designed to honour the Nigerian music star, Wizkid.

The song also topped the Apple Music Nigeria Top 100 chart and became a national item for nightclubs and public events.

Controversy on ‘Machala’

Berry Tiga was involved in a dispute with a Nigerian comedian, Efe Carter over true writer or owner of the song, ‘Machala’. Berri had proclaimed on instagram video that the sharing formula of 70 – 30 split of nobility procedure had not been honoured.  He added that rather than fulfilling the agreement, Efe Carter offered to buy him out with the sum of N100,000.

Efe Carter who was not pleased with the news, quickly removed Machala” removed from streaming platforms. According to Efe Carter, “Hotkid get verse for Machala song, I personally tell producer X to remove it because Berri cry give me say Hotkid go collect him shine for the song. Now you dey claim sa na you get song for Instagram”.
