She is a popular Nigerian comedian and social media personality.

She was born February 6, 1997 in Edo State. Maraji was born into a family of four children in a family, comprising of two sisters and two brothers. She hails from Edo State in south south Nigeria.

 

Maraji’s Educational Background

Maraji had her primary and secondary education in Edo State respectively.

She later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Covenant University in 2017.

 

Maraji’s Comedy Career

Maraji started her career making lip sync videos and miming songs, a development that was made possible by her friends who helped her to post her video online.

The success of her first video gave room for subsequent mimic videos and soon afterwards, she became internet sensation.

Maraji did a mimic video on one of Reekado Bank’s songs which he, Reekado reposted on his instagram and since then, Maraji’s fame and fan base grew tremendously.

She also did a mimic video on Korede Bello’s songs and other top Nigerian artistes.

Maraji initially did not see herself doing something special until her popularity and fan base double unimaginably. She role-plays in her comedy skits and switches between accents and vocal pitches to suit each character she plays.

Maraji was featured in the music videos for Falz’s “Something Light” and Yemi Alade’s “Single and Searching”.

Maraji has not only done mimic videos, but has also become famous in comedy skits. She has so far done good number of comedy to the admiration of her numerous fans across board.
