Rebecca was born on January 1st, 1998 to a British father and Nigerian mother in Port Harcourt. Nengi hails from Nembe/Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State in south southern Nigeria. So, She has a dual citizenship of a Nigeria and Britain.

Nengi also contested the prestigious Miss Peace Bayelsa Beauty Pageant as Miss Ekeremor, held in Bayelsa State, Nigeria and again won. She was crowned Miss Peace Bayelsa in 2014.
Nengi then entered as a contestant for the MBGN beauty pageant in 2016, but unfortunately had to back out of the competition to attend to personal issues.
In 2017, she again contested for the MBGN title as Miss Bayelsa and eventually made it to the top 5 contestants. However, she took home the title of ‘Best Evening wear’.
In September 2020, Nengi emerged 2nd runner up of the hit reality show, Big Brother Naija season 5.
Nengi is an astute entrepreneur. She launched her line, ‘Shoes by Flora’ in July 2019 which was named after her late mother MS. Flora. The brand deals essentially in women’s Footwear.
‘Shoes by Flora’ has so far received international recognition and went ahead to win an award from BlvckWomxnWorldwide for Entrepreneur of the Year on 1st of November 2020.
Acting
Nengi is also an actress. She has featured in the remake of the Nollywood classic Rattlesnake, The Ahanna Story.
