Frank Ugochukwu Edwards is widely known by his stage name as Frank Edwards. He is a popular Nigerian gospel singer, song writer, recording artist, stage performer, a multi-instrumentalist and a model.
He was born 22nd July 1989 in Nsukka Enugu State, in South Eastern Nigeria into a family of seven children. Frank kick-started is music career at a very tender age of ten years. Coming from the background of his father who was good at playing piano then, it is no surprise therefore to see young Frank play piano, keyboard, guitar and drum to the delight of many.
He has number of gospel songs to his creit after he became born again. The most vibrant and most touching singles Frankincense was a hit single that touched the soul, which invariably brought Frank to limelight. This debut album was very popular and earned him huge fortunes.
Frank is an active member of Christ Embassy Church in Nigeria and Love World Music Ministry with other celebrities like Ada Ehi, Samsong, Sinach, Praise and Nathaniel Bassey.
He is a multi-talented instrumentalist and a member of the Presidential band of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome in Christ Embassy Church. He is said to be good mixer and producer. His record label has a lot of promising younger artists and all doing very well.
Frank is said to be founder and proud owner of “Rocktown Records”. His first debut studio album “The Definition” was released in 2008 and it was a very successful hit song with millions of copies sold across Nigeria.
He went further to release his second and third albums respectively, and they are rightly described as the best ever in the gospel music industry in Nigeria. He collaborated with Sinach hit single “I know who I am” video and this duo performance was fantastic and highly loved by many. Again, in 2016, Frank also collaborated with the famous American gospel artist, Don Moen during the annual program, ‘Send Down Your Glory’ which was sponsored by the Assemblies of God Church, Owerri. The brilliant performance has been described as the album,’Grace’.
