DJ Cuppy is a Nigerian internationally recognized disc jockey (DJ), record producer, singer and a rare model.
She was born on the 11th of November, 1992 to a Nigerian Oil magnate, Femi Otedola and his wife Nana Otedola in Lagos in South Western Nigeria. She is the second child of four children and a granddaughter to former Lagos State governor, Sir Michael Otedola, a multi-millionaire, entrepreneur and a rare Philanthropist.
DJ Cuppy had her primary and secondary education in Lagos and later in the United Kingdom where she did her GSCEs and Advanced Levels respectively. She went further to study Business and Economics at the Fourth Oldest Higher Institute of Learning in the United Kingdom College, London and graduated from the University in 2014.
Her days in the College actually marked the beginning of her DJ career and she became the much talked about and sort out to perform at Clubs and Concerts and event places in London.
DJ Cuppy became very popular and grew to become a full-fledged career disc jockey. It also served as her ladder to venture into music career and have a successful journey by enrolling to study Music in New York in the United States of America and Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Headquarters where she had a firsthand information in International Music.
She has performed brilliantly in most local and international concerts including:

- MTV Africa Award – MAMA and a recipient of award’s resident DJ.
- SXSW Festival in Texas.

- Official DJ at the 2015 inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari in Nigeria.
She successful launched her mix tape tagged House of Cuppy. The mix tape featured Afrobeat and music stars including top Nigerian artistes like Kcee, Naeto, Tiwa Salvage, Alexandra Burke, Chidinma, Wizkid and others.
The launch was in grand star in Lagos and later in London which of course coincided with her graduation ceremony from her College in London.
The second launch was also marvelous which had top popular Nigerian artistes like Olamide, Seyi Shay, Yemi alade, P-Square and several others.

DJ Cuppy has received both local and international recognition and awards including Tourism Ambassador by the Nigerian Minister of Culture and Tourism, a brand designed to give international recognition and boost tourism sector in Nigeria.
She has also won the Nigerian Entertainment award for the best female DJ in the year 2015.
