Bolanle Ninolowo: Biography and Net worth

Bolanle Ninolowo is his real name but widely known and addressed as Nino. He is a tall and muscular Nigerian actor and producer who is gifted in acting potential in movie roles and can fit into any character assigned him by movie directors and producers in the industry.

He was born on the 5^th of May 1980 to a Yoruba father Alhaji Jamu Ninolowo and mother Alhaja Rualate Ninolowo in Ikorodu of Lagos State, Nigeria. Bolanle is second child of family of 8 children and had his up-bringing in Lagos state before he left for the United States of America for his studies at the age of 15.

 

Educational Background

He had a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Dewry University and later a Master’s degree in Marketing from Kellar graduate school of Management both in the United States of America. He then worked as a banker in General Growth Properties in Chicago, also in the United States of America.

 

His Acting Career

In 2010, The Yoruba born actor left his banking job in the United States to pursue his acting career by relocating to Nigeria. He was said to have started as a producer with a movie “Rebirth” but lacked the experience which put an abrupt end to that dream.

He gained recognition in 2014 when he acted his first movie and rose to popularity with the help of his cousin, Rukky Sanda, an experienced actress, by giving him a role in a movie. Since then, Bolanle has built on his talents and has featured in over 50 movies including the Guardian, Walking Away, Baby Shower, Husband of Lagos, Picture Perfect among others.

According to Bolanle, he got inspired by Nollywood actor Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD) and has worked with several top class actors in the Nigerian industry in the likes of Uche Ogbodo, Halima Abubakar, Ayo Adesanya, Iyabo Ojo, Francis Duru, Ronke  Odusanya, Mary Remmy Njoku and other top Nollywood stars.

Bolanle Ninolowo has won several awards including the prestigious Revelation of the year at Best of Nollywood Awards in 2010.

He is happily married with two beautiful children.
