Destiny Etiko is a talented and prominent Nigerian actress, scriptwriter, television personality and a model.
She was born on the 12th of August, 1994 in Udi, a community in Enugu State in the south eastern Nigeria. She grew up in Enugu State.

Destiny Etiko had her primary and secondary education in Enugu and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka in Anambra State where she graduated in Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts in the year 2012. Since graduation, she has been very active and relevant in the Nigerian Movie industry.
Her Acting Career
Destiny Etiko made her journey into Nollywood while still in secondary school. Owing to her passion for acting and determination to succeed, she registered with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) at the Enugu Office in National Museum, GRA, Enugu.
She took up minor characters in most movies after attending series of auditions and was subsequently selected to act in most movies.
Destiny however rose to limelight after starring in a hit movie “Idemili”, a movie directed by Ernest Obi and produced by a Nigerian producer Onye Eze productions. The movie was a huge success and earned her nomination for best promising actress in Nigeria at the City People Entertainment Awards.
The movie was shot in Asaba and Enugu respectively.

Destiny is not yet married, but believed to be in a relationship which she has kept strongly to herself.
In an interview, Destiny Etiko revealed that she would marry a man who can understand her love for acting. She added that she is not ready to ditch her career for any reason; not even marriage or any man can make her leave movie acting.
However, it was rumoured that she has an adopted daughter, Chinenye Eucharia but no known biological child.
In a separate interview, the Nollywood star also revealed that people should stop linking her achievements to men because she works extremely hard and gets several brand ambassadorial deals.
According Destiny, “t is funny because I work for my money and I get good endorsements. If it is easy for men to give one money, then go and collect money from men. I work, make my money, and some people appreciate me.

She went further to state: “I just got an endorsement deal with a Chinese company that deals in sanitary pads and baby diapers. When I achieve something tomorrow, people would say a man gave it to me. Let them keep talking. Even if I don’t achieve anything, it is still the same people that would say after all the films I have been acting, I have not done anything for myself. I don’t want to take it seriously”, she concluded.
