Segun Ogungbe whose real full name is Segun Akanni Ogungbe is a Yoruba born actor, filmmaker, producer and director. He is the son of the late actor and filmmaker, Akin Ogungbe.
He was born on the 30th of March, but his year of birth is not known. Segun is known for Akoto Olokada 2, Akoto Olokada and Ila Owo.
Segun Ogungbe had his primary and secondary education in Ibadan. After obtaining his first and secondary certificates respectively, he had since been very active and relevant in Yoruba and English Nollywood movies, especially in Yoruba speaking type.
Segun is skillful, creative and exceptionally talented actor. He is gifted in acting and interpreting roles and accepts freely any movie roles assigned him in the industry.

Segun Ogungbe’s personal life is remarkable in many ways.
He is married with two wives, namely Atinuke and Omawunmi Ogungbe. Inspite of the problems associated with polygamy, he revealed that he has a peaceful home and comfortable with it as a result of understanding between both wives.
Many of his fans did not know of this development until very recently when he marked his birthday. Both wives took turn to wish him a happy birthday on Instagram. One of them, Omawunmi who is also an actress in the movie industry.
In an interview granted both wives, they said they have become best of friends as a result their marriage to same man. They both denied ever be close friends before marrying to Segun Ogungbe.
Segun has been married to Atinuke for many years and the union has produced children. Atinuke wasn’t an actress but a good friend of Omowunmi, who was training as an actress with Segun Ogungbe Films Academy.
However there was a rumour making the rounds that the actor married his wives who were initially close friends. Ogungbe debunked the claims, saying that his second wife was his longtime girlfriend before they got married.
