He was born on the 27th of May, 1991 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He hails from Imo State in south eastern Nigeria.
Educational Background
Mark Angel had his primary and secondary education in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. He went to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife in Osun State to study Medicine and Surgery but could not continue the programme owing to financial reasons.
His Career
He joined Nollywood after returning from India where he studied Cinematography. He started as a Nollywood movie editor and director of photography. On noticing the inability of some producers to pay his fee, Angel quitted Nollywood for full time comedy.

His series of YouTube comedy feature a number of people from his family and neighbourhood in Port Harcourt in the likes of Emmanuella Samuel, Success and other intelligent children.
His first comedy show “Oga Landlord”, shot him to fame. It was a comedy that reveals a man whose rent was due but tried to hide from his landlord, Daddy Humble. He tried to have a child to cover up for him by telling the Landlord that he was not around. It was really funny to see this revelation: “My Uncle is not around. He just told me”.
This intelligent teenager, Emmanuella has won awards in Nigeria and Australia for her brilliant work with Angel, widely known to be the youngest YouTube award winner.
