He was born on the 16th of June 1962 in London, United Kingdom to Fela Ransome Kuti as father and Madam Remilekun, as mother.
Femi had his up-bringing in Lagos state by his mother at the time she separated from her father.
Femi Kuti had his primary and secondary education at Igbobi College in Lagos.
His Musical Career
Femi joined his father’s musical band and subsequently developed strong passion for music, playing keyboard and saxophone. He grew up to become an icon and after about eight years with his father, he pulled out to form his own club known as ‘Positive Force’.
