Dede One Day had his real name as Peter Onwuzuurike Onyehidelam. He was a Nigerian comic actor, comedian, master of ceremony, entrepreneur and a comic actor.
Dede was born and brought up in Aba, a popular town in Abia state in south eastern. He hails from Umuagwuru Mbieri, a community in Imo state in south eastern Nigeria.

Dede had his primary and secondary education in Aba where he obtained his first and secondary school certificates respectively. He remained active and relevant in the entertainment industry until his tragic end.

Dede One Day began his career, a name he got for himself during one of his comic acting. He started as a comedian and master of ceremony.
He rose to prominence after featuring in a hit comedy audio series “Laugh With Me”, a comedy talk show that was laden with laughter and made one to overcome sorrow in life.
The success of his comedy launched him into Nollywood. He acted his first movie “Joseph The Dreamer”, a movie he acted alongside Odera Nwobu.
The movie was very successful and shot him to fame and recognition in Nollywood. The same movie earned him nomination for Best Comic Act to Watch at the African Movie Academy Awards.
Dede One Day was popular in acting comic movies alongside the major players in the industry like Osita Iheme, Chinedu Ikedieze, late Sam Loco Efe, John Okafor, Nkem Owoh, Victor Ozuagwu and other top stars.
Dede was very creative, skillful and highly talented comic actor. He was gifted at interpreting movie roles and was liberal in accepting any character in most movies.

Sadly, enough, this veteran met his untimely death on the 14th of December, 2015 as a result of complicated hypertension leaving behind wife and children. he was buried in his mansion in his home town, Imo state. May his gentle soul continue to rest in peace.
