Kenny George is a famous UK-based Nollywood film actress, Filmmaker, script writer and producer.
Kenny was born on December 7, 1978 in Lagos into the Christian family of Mr. and Mrs. Adebayo George. Kenny is the third child in a family of six children. Her father worked with the defunct Nigeria Airways and her mother, a business woman.
Kenny’s Educational Background
Kenny George had her primary education at United Nations African Primary School and Command Secondary School, Ipaja both in Lagos State.
She did not however complete her secondary education before relocating with her parents in 1991 to London where she continued at Skinners Secondary School, Stamford Hill and completed her programme in 1994.
Kenny later went on to study Health Social Care in Islington college and graduated in 1996. She also studied Accounting and Hospitality Management at South Bank University and North West Kent College respectively.
Kenny’s Acting Career
Kenny George began acting in 2006 in London. It was a passion she developed at her early age of 9 years old, although her parents had wanted her to study accounting.
She met Nollywood actress Lola Alao in London and eventually converted her apartment for shooting movies.
Kenny acted her first movie, Te’te in which Saheed Balogun encouraged her to pick a role. Her brilliant performance paved the way for her subsequent roles in numerous movies.
She has since proved herself in the movie industry as an actress, script writer, Producer, Filmmaker and worked with top key players like Toyin Aimakhu and Yomi Fabiyi who then encouraged her to feature in her movies rather than just writing them.
