Emmanuel Benjamin is his birth name but fondly and professionally known as Eben. He is a Nigerian gospel singer, vocalist, and songwriter.
Eben was born into a Christian family on September 9, 1979 in Lagos, Nigeria. He grew up in Lagos and he is the fifth of six children.

Eben attended Orile Primary School, and Community Grammar School, Orile, Lagos for his primary and secondary school certificates respectively.
Eben’s Music Career
Eben kick-started his singing career in 1997 when his elder brother used to mentor him as a rapper. But over time, he discovered his talent in singing and became a gospel singer.
In 2005, as a gospel singer, Eben became popular after his first big public appearance at a Youth Conference organized by Pastor Chris where the song, “Imarama” was heard.
Eben was a member of Christ Embassy founded by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. He released his first album, “On the Rock” which contained songs like God Dey, Iwo Nikan, I Don Hammer, Imaranma and other hit tracks.
The highly talented gospel singer has so far released a number of albums including the 2010 album, “Phenomenon”, which had songs like “Supper Man”, “Imele Papa”, “Siya Nma” and several other tracks.
Other albums released by Eben titled “Justified”, which included songs like “You Alone Are Worthy”, “Onye Nwem”, “How I Love You”, “For Ever” and “All The Way” and another hit album, ‘Magnified’ with tracks like “Stayed On You”, “Everything”, “Idi Nma”, “Lifted Hands” and other worship songs.
Eben has a record label called Hammer House of Rock, with a business arm called the Hammer House Ventures. It specializes in video and music production, event management and interior decoration.
September 15, 2019, Eben host a life Concert titled ‘Joyful Noise 2019’ which featured top gospel artistes including the popular American musicians, Bob Fitts and Phil Thompson.

Eben’s Marital Life
On 30 November 2013, Eben married Jahdiel (Grace Okoduwa), his fellow gospel singer on November 30 2013 and the union is blessed with two children.
