Akanbi Bamidele Brett is his real name, but widely and professionally known as Cheque or Superboy. He is a popular Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper known for his hit song, ‘Zoom’, released in 2020.
Cheque was born on March 23, 1995 in Ondo State. He hails from Okitipupa in Ondo State, in south western Nigeria.
Cheque is currently signed to Phyno’s Penthauze Music.

Cheque had his primary and secondary education in Ondo State respectively.
He later graduated in Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife in Osun State Nigeria in 2016.

In September 2023, Cheque featured Olamide in a single titled LOML (Love Of My Life) and later released his debut studio album ‘Bravo’ on 24 September 2023.
