Naomi Mac is a young talented Nigerian singer, songwriter and stage performer.
She was born in 1991 in Bayelsa State. She is the third child to her parents. Naomi Mac hails from Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Naomi Mac’s educational background is however not available, but broke into the Nigerian music industry scene after being the first runner up in The Nigerian Idol, a talent hunt show initiated by Etisalat in 2015.
Naomi Mac’s Music Career
Naomi Mac began singing at the young age of 7 when she performed with her sibling, Grace Mac at MTN Project Fame in 2012.
She also performed as a teenage singer with Layefa Mac in her local Church in Lagos some years back, which invariably influenced her musical career greatly.
Naomi had a major breakthrough in 2015 when she was featured in the first season of Nigerian Idol organized by Etisalat. She has since featured in major shows and events across the country including Etisalat Nigeria Popular Easycliq, Festival Clip-Fest organsied in Universities across Nigeria, product luaches, Press Conferences, Sony Internet TV launch event among others.
Naomi is known to have done studio recordings with the likes of Cobhams Asuquo, Michael Tone, Parker Ighile and ohers.
In an interview, Naomi revealed that her choice of a peace, love and change song for her single is to correct the ills in the society and being about the needed change and restore love that can make us all live together as one.
The talented singer also made the list of 24 contestants at the Voice Naija singing competition 2023. She performed brilliantly well and was predicted to win the show.
Naomi Mac is a gifted and talented music star. She has featured with top musicians in Nigeria, including Adekunle Gold in one of her singles, “My Heart”.
She also collaborated with Pheelz on “Ori Mi”.
