Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman is his real name, also widely and professionally known as Oxlade. He is a fast up-coming Nigerian singer and song writer based in Lagos.

Oxlade made entry into the music world, dated back to his secondary school days regardless of strong disapproval from his father.
He rose to prominence with the release of the song, “Away”, which was highly successful and topped 50 best songs of 2020. It was part of his EP Oxygene which comprises six tracks- Away, Kokose, Hold On, Table Turns, Weakness and O2.

On 12 October 2020, Oxlade was injured during the EndSARS peaceful protest in Surulere, Lagos. A video clip of Oxlade, his manager Ojah’B and other protesters were seen receiving beating and treated like a criminal by the Nigerian police who stumped the venue of the incident.
On 8 February 2022, Oxlade sex tape was leaked from Snapchat, and became a trending topic on Twitter.
Shortly after, UNILAG students went viral, as they were seen celebrating his sex skills, which many tag “The Spider-Man Style”. The female partner was later identified as Rachyyveer or Tammy.
On 10 February 2022, she publicly disclosed her plan to sue Oxlade for 20 Million Naira, right after her boyfriend dumped her.
On 12 February 2022, Oxlade apologized on Twitter to his fans and the lady on the viral video and the matter has been amicably resolved.

Oxlade is not yet married. The famous singer revealed he was in a relationship which has hit the rock. He added that inspite of his time and investment in the girl, he found out that the girl was still following her former boy friend and he was convinced that the relationship would not work. He eventually called it quit with the girl.
