Caroline was born 26th June 1960 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State in Southern part of Nigeria to a Scottish father and a Nigerian mother. Thus, the renowned actress is a dual citizen of Nigeria and the first of family of 3 children.

The success recorded by this movie, directed by Chico Ejiro paved the way for her another blockbuster movie “Deadly Kiss”, which of course won her nomination for Best Actress in Nigeria at Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Caroline Danjuma got married to Musa Danjuma, the younger brother to the Rtd. General Theophilus Danjuma, and the marriage is blessed with three children. The marriage has however ended up in divorce in 2016.
Following this development, there was a break in acting for a period of time after the divorce saga with her husband before making her way back to the movie scene. This sudden disappearance caused stairs and tension among her fans who believed Caroline would never come back to acting. Her fans were however proved wrong when in 2016, she returned to the Nollywood business, featuring in romantic thriller movie “Stalker”. This was another hit for Caroline alongside Jim Iyke and Nse Ikpe Etim.
